Automation Overview

Automations are an efficient way to save time and boost your conversions, while also updating subscriber information automatically in the background. With thousands of automation combinations available, here are some common examples of what users automate:

  • Sending ebook downloads

  • Sending a welcome email after a simple form submission

  • Updating customer information

  • Drip email campaigns

  • Course onboarding

  • Webinar registrations, followed by emails linked to sales funnels

  • Course content delivery

  • Business updates

  • Newsletters, and more.

Automation flow basics

Automations consist of three fundamental components:

  1. Triggers - This can be any action taken by the subscriber, such as visiting your website, opening an email, or updating their information. Your automation is operational 24/7 and ready to be triggered by these actions.

  2. Conditional Logic - You can create complex automations using "if this, then that" logic, allowing you to establish specific automation rules.

  3. Actions - You can perform various actions in response to a trigger, such as sending an eBook, updating subscriber information, or sending an automated email campaign.

Using the Notes function, you or your team members can leave helpful comments at each step of the automation funnel. This can be incredibly useful for reminding you of step information or providing instructions for your team to follow. Simply write your note, save it, and pin it for future reference.

Using Notes

Analytics

You can monitor the progress of your automations in real-time and track various metrics, including open rates, clicks, and the number of subscribers who have completed the automation. This allows you to stay informed about the effectiveness of your automations and make adjustments as necessary.

Defining goals for your automation can help you determine its effectiveness. When a subscriber completes the specific action that you have defined as a goal, Spacecrate considers it a win and records it in your analytics dashboard. Once a subscriber reaches your set goal, they will be removed from that automation.
