Email Account Review
Email account reviews are necessary to ensure that emails sent from the account are delivered successfully to the recipients. The review process involves scoring accounts based on their sending history. There are two main reasons why an account may be put in review mode:
Sending allowance: To generate a score for new users, the platform collects sending data. New senders start with a limit of 1000 emails, and the score is generated based on the bounce and spam rates for that account. Once the score is generated, the sending allowance is extended to send more emails. This process takes about 2 hours and is automatic. The allowance limits are 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, and unlimited.
Bad reputation: If an account has a low score due to high bounce or spam rates, the platform automatically puts it on pause and pending approval or decline from an admin. The accepted rates are 5% bounce rate and 0.1% spam rate. If either of these rates is exceeded, the account will be paused for review.
Other reasons why an account may be put under review include issues with links (such as link shorteners or multiple redirects) and billing issues (such as a chargeback or payment dispute). Most reviews are automatic, and the account owner will be notified via email when they can start sending emails again.
If more information is needed, the account owner will be contacted.
