If you want to accept donation payments or pay-what-you-want offers, the Donation Widget is the perfect tool for you.

Simply navigate to the Donation Widget and add it to any page of your choice.

Settings for the donation widget

To get your donations widget working, you will need to set it up differently from the normal store products and checkouts.

You can collect payments using two payment gateways: Stripe and Braintree, both of which are easy to set up.

Add your API keys for either payment gateway and it will connect automatically.

After adding your preferred payment system, you can choose to set a specific donation amount or allow the donor to input their own donation value.

Please note that store donations will not be included in the store analytics dashboard.

Choose the currency you want to accept payments and you're almost done! Optionally, you can add the customer to your email marketing list when they make a donation.

Once the customer makes a donation, you have the option to direct them to a custom thank-you page or any other desired page on your website or even an external URL. Alternatively, you can choose to display a simple thank-you message to them.
